Replica inspired by the Roman fibula with “Pelta” decoration now in the Saalburg Museum, the original was found inside the Zugmantel fortification in the Limes-Germanic-Rhaetian. This legionary fibula from the middle 2nd century – early 3rd century referred to the features of a shield used by the Greek infantry. Other original findings came in the area near the Rhine and Main rivers in Germany and in the Limes area of ​​Upper Germany.Literary references are present in the volume: A.
