Replica inspired by the Roman fibula with “Pelta” decoration now in the Saalburg Museum, the original was found inside the Zugmantel fortification in the Limes-Germanic-Rhaetian. This legionary fibula from the middle 2nd century – early 3rd century referred to the features of a shield used by the Greek infantry.
